How many buses at the World are capable of accomodating two manual wheelchairs? Also...we can transfer if we need to, could we do that on a no wheelchair buss and just collapse our chairs?

Yes 2 wheelchairs can be accommodated. The only thing is you may have to wait for another bus if the is already one on the bus. The other alternative that I have seen is to fold up one of the wheelchairs and put it between the 2 wheelchairs that are secured. Means someone needs to stand with the wheelchair and the other wheelcahir passenger has to be ok with it. Doesn't work so well if it is an EVC as they take up more room.

All of our buses have two securement locations. The majority of the time, all works well, and goes smoothly. Of course, since Murphy and his law vacation here in Florida all the time, there's always the chance of a snafu. (ie: during a park exit when everyone is leaving at once)

In the event that one (or both) position is already taken, you may always fold up a wheelchair, and have that person take a regular seat. The folded wheelchair(s) can go anywhere on the bus, just as long as someone can hold onto it.
