I will answer the rest later, just wanted to say I am SO with you!!!!!!! It doesn't help that the logo of Buffalo Wild Wings is a buffalo!!! I thought it was to do with hot wings, and buffalo's having a hot, wild temper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is such a pig of a dog! He once ate a whole (dead) bird on the field when we were walking him - it was bigger than him. I think he gets it from us . . .!!!!!
Ok, I'm a big Dork. I never knew that Buffalo wings had anything to do with the city. I thought it had something to do wit hthe animal, and I never could figure out what. LOL!
Now don't make fun of me.
Sorry, I had to!! PRICELESS!! LOL!!
Somebody's having a Jessica Simpson moment! Hint: Chicken of the Sea is really tuna! LOL
And have you ever tasted Buffalo? Yuck! Around here, buffalo wings has to do with the sauce. I did know that the ORIGINAL wings were from Buffalo, but we have adopted the buffalo wings as chicken wings with hot sauce. Kudos to Buffalo.
Sci Fi is grrreat for lunch. It's standard Burger/diner faire obviously but the setting just makes it for me (I'm a massive geek). Last time I was there had an awesome waiter too, which made it for us.
I never tire of your updated reviews!!!! I'm sorry your Chef Mickeys breakfast wasn't so good...but i'm glad Earl made up for it! As far as Nine Dragons, that place has been hit or miss for us. We went on our honeymoon and loved it so much that we went back during our trip. We went again in our 2005 and 2006 trips and the food was terrible. I'm glad you had a great meal there...maybe we'll try it out while we're there this year. Those eggrolls and dumplings look fantastic!
Just enjoying your report sooooo much! Earl of Sandwich ROCKS!!! We just love this place too.
Cyndi
Yummy! Thanks for the great reviews. How close is Earl's and Ghirardellis? I've been to Earl's a few times but never Ghiradelli's, I don't even remember seeing it. I think it might make a great snack after EOS on our next trip and I can see how their ice cream compares to Beaches and Cream. Now I'm really torn between the italian and the tuna that I normally get. Hmmm decisions decisions. You know how crazy I must be reading this right now? I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday and can't even open my mouth wide enough to stick my fingers in yet and I'm living off of pudding and jello. Ahhhh I want to eat!
I don't like being put in a side room at Chef Mickey either!! The ice cream sundae looks delicious
Sonya,
Bravo ,another wonderful post. I am sure the servers in the restaurants must look at how tiny you are and think you will eat like a bird. I have never thought to try Nine Dragons, I have no idea why I haven't. I will now be adding it to my December must do list. Thanks so much for allowing me to "virtually" dine with you and Tony.
I would definitely keep Nine Dragons in mind next time!
Totally loving your reviews... We did chef mickeys for breakfast and after so many great breakfasts it doesnt seem as good anymore.. we were in the same side room as you man isnt it cramped there?!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, those sandwiches look sooooooooooooo good! 82 days until the Earl!
That chinese definitely looks amazing! I'll definitely keep it in mind if we get hungry in Epcot one evening!
Shame about Cafe Mickey - I'm glad we don't have it booked now as I've read far too many reviews like yours lately. I think they need to rethink their meals and layout a bit perhaps.
Looking forward to more reviews!! We were going to go to Nine Dragons for lunch during our Sept. trip and the dining CM said, "why don't you try Le Cellier instead", I said "Umm, o.k., if you can find me a table for 5." Then she did! So we'll do the dragon next trip!!
We recently read a HORRIBLE review of Nine Dragons and are so pleased to read your glowing review of it! It definitely looks tastey! And the more Ghirardellis you show the more I'm thinking I need to go there lol. Did they take any snack credits there?
That's such a shame CM's wasn't up to scratch
I have to say I was suprised you gave Nine Dragons a good review as generally you don't hear good things. I think it's not busy as you can get a Chinese anywhere whereas the other types of food are a bit more exotic (exept the Fish N Chips to us )
Oh how I could scoff a sarnie from Earls right now
Oh yummy, yummy, yummy...I am so hungry having just read half or your report in one go. Looking forward to drooling over more later.
(Note to self - up to page 18)
We dined at Nine Dragons for lunch twice before the present renovations & loved it. I didn't see the menu items you ordered on the Allears menus, are they included in the regular DDP or just the Deluxe DDP? We went ahead & booked an ADR anyway for our last night. Thanks for the good reviews.
Your trip is getting so much closer! How many Earl visits are you planning?!
OK....I'm ashamed to say that only read what you've written to date tonight...I am a fan, but we have been so down since we returned on 12th June after our 17 night break that I haven't been able to face the sunshine which the Disboards offer. However, I'm thinking about next years trip now and you are providing inspiration!!
I can't believe you didn't go to Mythos at Islands of Adventure....no joke, we thought the food there was great and we returned another 2 times after our initial visit...
Can't wait to read more.
