Children’s menu and Out of pocket dining

Always asked my child his age at Buffets even when he would have been considered obviously under 9 and even last year when he was 12 and we never said he was a child just made a reservation for the number of people... He doe snot look 9 or under to me anyway.... I guess it is like serving alcohol it is ask all or nothing it has to be fair.... I guess....
