Yeah - I don't know why they said 6-8 weeks. That is clearly wrong and not what anyone else told me. Everyone I talked to always said just to call back in 2-3 days. I don't blame you.

It's been a long time since I"ve looked but I seem to recall that if people did not contact MS by phone or chat, it would in fact take 1-2 weeks to get points loaded, after the contract showed up. But if they did, they could usually get it done within 1-2 days. I believe I did try on the day after contract showed and was told to wait but the following day I tried again and it worked.

Contract is showing now in my account...So close....one more step and then it is done! One thing I adjusted is the Deed recorded date since it shows on the comptroller site as 3/11/24. I received the email from the title company saying it was done on 3/13/24, but I'm going with what the date shown on the actual deed.

Seeing others with their deed recorded on 3/13 getting their contracts showing is giving me hope I’m close! Then again this process has just about drug out as long as possible for each step for us. Trying to use 175 points over summer before they expire 7/31 has me a bit anxious!

We had Emily for ours. I had to constantly reach out to her for updates. How has your experience been?

Our deed was recorded on 3/13 - Others seem to have their membership ID email from Disney. Does anyone know if the title company sends forms to DVC Member services after the Deed is recorded? I wouldn't be shocked if Member Services is waiting on Magic Vacation Title to send over documents.

My deed was recorded 3/8 and my contract showed on my dashboard 3/20, existing member. I don’t know what determines the order Disney process contracts and loading points, but I’ve seen deeds recorded at the same time or after mine and points have already been loaded to accounts. I’ve contacted member services twice, the first time I was told it would take 6-8 weeks, the second tried, but support said the points weren’t available yet and to try next week. I’m really hoping they show up soon as I’m trying to book a Christmas trip so i want to get that done asap.

Getting pretty excited. The contract has 75 points that expire May 31. I was thinking of booking those points immediately to make a reservation for 2/3 night stay. I would then offer it as a confirmed reservation on the Disboards. Would I have better luck offering a transfer?

I got one update from Emily that wasn't connected to a "here are the next step's docs." Then never heard anything when seller docs were back, when things were moving along, etc.

The one one-off email I got from Emily was after it had been a week past ROFR with no docs received, I asked her for an ETA and she emailed to say I'd have the docs by COB Monday (this was sent to me on a Thurs). Well, that did not happen either as they eventually arrived on Tuesday, the 12th day after ROFR.

It's done. It's over and I'm over it too, but never ever again would I give *** another penny. There are better options available at lower price points. Doesn't make sense to use them.

I experienced the same as you. While I am glad to hear that I was not expecting too much and felt that M V T dropped the ball in multiple steps of the process, I’m sorry you went through the same issue!
