CONFIRMED new dining plan Snacks.

I am leaving on Wednesday for my first trip as a DVC member. My DS who is 5 and an eating machine isn't coming so I decided this would be a good time to try the dinning plan. I usually opt out of the dinning plan because he likes to eat off the adult menu I and finishes his food for the most part) and as a child he cannot do this with the DDP. DD 4 is comming and she eat mostly from the kids menu. I am also taking my FIL who will eat anything put in front of him.

I can't wait to keep checking back an see how the list has grown. I know it may change once again before my trip, but I can always hope.

Yum, I hope I didn't miss this on one of the posts of this thread, but are the frozen lemon treats considered a snack? I don't remember how much they cost but I sure do love them! Thanks!

A good way to stretch your counter service credits is to look at the side items. We used 1 CS and 1S at Pizza Planet (MGM) to get a pizza and a side salad. That was more than enough food for my DH and I. We got eggrolls in MK at a cart in Adventure Land. We also took advantage of the full size chips and dips at SSR. I truly could not believe all the snack options!! Make sure you are always looking for the little DDP square. Also the veggie and fruit cups at AK were HUGE!! It never hurts to ask! :teeth:

I can't even believe it. I'm even MORE excited now than I already was!!!

Anyone know if a slice of fudge in the candy shop in MGM would be included? I can't remember what the price was the last time I ate some.

What about the Candied Apples?

I am looking forward to the Snacks more than the regular meals! :lmao: :lmao:

Here's the promised photo of the snack boards with the symbol for DDP.

Oh, and whoever asked about the nuts, the ones in America in World Showcase definitely are eligible, because I looked!

You know - this is seriously wonderful news! I'm so incredibly excited! :thumbsup2

DH and I were just talking about this last night. What about candy and caramel apples? We LOVE the Candy Cauldron, does anyone know if Candy Cauldron is accepting DDP for snacks?? Thanks!

Well, alrighty then!!! :cool1: I'm using the DDP for the first time in July and had resigned myself to several Mickey :mickeybar bars and bottled water, but alas thanks to the powers that be...pixiedust: I am now feeling all :goofy: and pretty darn excited about all these new choices! I'm having a Dole Whip float, a pastry from Norway, a Mickey rice krispie treat, one of those smoothie things in AK, and who knows what else. :confused3 This has got to be the best thing next to sliced bread! :woohoo: Oh, no...it just hit me though...I usually do pretty good on my trips, but I'm thinking a few of these :yay: might be in order to help rid my hips of these yummy snacks....

I have died and gone to food porn heaven!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Me too - it is crazy how some extra snacks gets everyone so crazy excited. I personally am more excited for my upcoming trip now. Dole Whips, fruit cups, rasberry lemonade slushies - oh my!! I seriously may have to go to POFQ for a beignet - I love them  This is when WDW seriously needs to consider resort to resort buses, so we can eat all the new snack offerings :rotfl:

Note to everyone packing.... think "stretchy" shorts or buy a few in the next size higher. :lmao:

had to subscribe, I have dole whip visions dancing in front of my eyes :cloud9: , very excited about using DDP for first time in August, if DH wasn't sold before, a bakery treat or two should do it :teeth:
