Connecting rooms at villas

Are studio and/ or one bedroom villas configured so that there are connecting inner doors between them? Similar to resort rooms?

Many studios have a door that connects with a 1-bedroom which allows those villas to be booked as a 2-bedroom lock-off.

It would be less points to book a 2 bedroom lockoff than a studio & 1 bedroom separately. If you book them separately, there's no guarantee they will connect. Some resorts have dedicated studios & 1 bedrooms that do not have a connecting door, in addition to lockoffs. I typically book a studio or 1 bedroom at BWV and most times get a room without a connecting door.
