Cruise check in tips

We will be flying into Orlando one the sail morning and renting a car for the week. We will be parking at Port. Does anyone have any tips for quick and easy parking and check in?

Have your docs filled out BEFORE you get in line for the check-in counters.

P.S. - If you rent from Avis or Budget, you may be able to leave the rental car their Port Canaveral outlets and take their shuttles? You could save on that $10 / day port parking (and maybe not have the rental register ticking (cha ching) while you are on the ship).
