Hey all! here is our new home.

DDA originally stood for Disney Design Addicts as most of the posters were addicted to making t-shirt designs. Those designers are still here and many many more people have joined our friendly community. We think that DDA still fits whether you be a Disney Design Addict, Dear Disney Addict, Disney Dream-aholics, Disney Dream Addicts or whatever other acronyms you'd like to throw in there.

Elin, those online ADRs really are only beneficial when they work properly. I have seen more threads about the system locking up, error codes, lost ressies, etc. I am glad you got someone on the phone!

No cause of death for Patrick. Joe is almost catatonic on the issue. He did say there was a lot of blood also....which I had not heard. So I'm not sure what that really means.....did he vomit blood, or did he commit suicide? In some twisted way I would hope suicide because accidental death seems even sadder if that is possible.

Sorry to hear that so many of our kiddos are under the weather.
Hopefully they will all feel better soon.

Well the cheerleading outfit is done, I just hope it fits, I had her try on a trial one first and I made this one a little bit bigger. She also has a headband with a bow, and socks with bows, I plan on taking pictures of them together in their uniforms.

Tammi - I'm so sorry that Alyssa is not well. Here's some pixie dust for no strep! Good to get her looked at now, though!

Elin - Congrats on your ADR's! I'm glad you got what you wanted!!! Can't wait to hear/read all about your trip!

We had a really long night last night! Timothy was cranky, feverish and just icky! He did cut two teeth last night, so I'm thinking that was the problem. Of course, it meant we didn't get much sleep! He's napping now, and I'm heading back to bed after this! Hopefully, we'll all wake up in much better spirits!

Since we didn't get our movie night last night, the girls and I watched "Coraline" and then "Hoodwinked". Coraline was really freaky! The twins were scared out of their minds by the end! I thought it was well done, but it's not a movie I want to own.

Poor Joe. After you see something horrible like that it just replays over and over. I hope the autopsy gives some answers. Sad.

Glynis, I hope Timothy feels better!

My gimpy eye is giving me problems again. It is itchy and red. Guess I will start back on the eye drops and see how it goes.

Hugs for all the sick kids! My DGS just got over pneumonia, so I feel your pain.

Kristine, I discovered a friend in a pool of blood (suicide) and it traumatized me for years. Many, many years. It is the basis for my hatred of Valentine's Day to this day although it happened more than 40 years ago. I truly hope Joe gets some professional help.

I dont think I commented earlier on this, but so sad..I feel horrible for Joe

So Alyssa came home on Friday saying that a girl in her class went home from school with a fever. Alyssa was playing with her Thursday night. I saw it coming. Alyssa woke up today with a fever, sore throat and headache. I gave her ibuprofin and that nauseated her, making her vomit. She has no appetite. I'll take her to urgent care later, to rule out strep. Here it comes.

O no! I hope she feels better!


Well, my room is all painted--I think it looks good! Therea re a couple of spots I need to touch up, but nothing major. I made cupcakes (with football paper and put blue stars in icing). I will be taking them to my brother at the firehouse after the Eagles game. The rest of the day is just football! I actually worked on my kids' goody bags for Halloween so they are done and out of the way. I love the 2nd year of teaching--I am able to get so much more done ahead of time now that I dont feel so overwhelmed!

Kristine,,,I cannot even imagine the pain and sure hope they find the cause soon.

My youngest was following two of his friends back to the base when their car fishtailed, went across the medium and hit a big rig head on. He was following in the one guy's truck cause he had said he was so very tired. Steve told me he helped search for both of them in the rain, it was dark and everything smelled of gasoline. They eventually found them but one had been cut in half by the seat belt. I know he still thinks about it and I have told him he needs to seek help.

Kristin took me out for brunch this afternoon becuase of all my hard work this morning.

After I made the ADRs I planned the weekly menu and then did the grocery shopping.

We watched the 'Skins win and now are watching the Steelers!!

I sent the menfolk to the grocery store. I am sort of doing laundry. And I watched Edward Scissorhands. I figure that's not bad for a day's work.
