Good morning everyone ..
Oh I love hearing about trip reports.. it gets me soo excited.
I have been with my preceptor for the last 4 or 5 weeks and I just love her.. I would like to pick her up a gift for my last day with her tomorrow..
any suggestions?

Welcome back, Jen! Sounds like you had a great trip. What fun!
Elin and Tammi- I just took Phil to work and it's already nasty out here as well. We were close to 100 yesterday, but humidity wasn't too bad. Today's humidity is horrible already. They say we're supposed to hit 92, but then they said that yesterday too so I don't really believe it.
Anne Marie - Sounds like a nice weekend! Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Good Morning,
Today's my day off for the fourth, and I'll be heading to the spa to use the gift card I was given for Christmas,
, DH gave it to me and said I needed to wait and use it right before our trip. So I have an appointment for a cut, color, and style along with a manicure and pedicure.

Elin - hope the AC man doesn't have too many problems, working outside will be nothing compared to working in the attic if he has to
Sorry I don't have any good gift suggestions, I always struggle with them myself.
Elizabeth hasn't been around much lately but she would be proud that we've started getting things together for packing. I plan on having a pool, laundry afternoon about mid trip so that we won't need to pack as much, and since afternoon breaks are definitely in the plans that shouldn't be a problem.
It has done nothing but rain here for over a week, of course I prefer things that way around the fourth so that we don't have fires.

They said mechanical problems--so i was fine with the delay--id rather have the delay than g et on a bad plane..the way they handled it was awful.
I already got an email back from airtran and they are crediting my credit card with the money we paid to get business class so it all worked out!

i cant beleive how hot it is here ! Florida had its warm moments, but we were in the 80s and overcast or rainy most of the time...it is absolutely crazy here!

Debbie - Enjoy your visit to the spa. Sounds delightful! Elizabeth is in Kansas right now, but you know she'd love your packing already! I don't think I'll ever pack to Elizabeth's timing. I can barely pack to the airplane's timing sometimes.

It was a last minute trip & I was not sure what to expect. The city was really nice, beautiful old homes with so much character. The people were so friendly, just a great weekend.Good morning.
Anne Marie - I've never been to Charleston, but I hear that it is lovely. Sounds like you had a fun time!
That's so funny how NJ & NY are warmer than Disney!!! Glad you had a great trip.

I spoke to Chris a few minutes ago. Everyone always asks why we would go to Florida in the summer, he's walking around telling them all that he can't wait to go to Florida to cool off 
I need to dig out his Mickey watch too as he loves to play the Mickey Mouse March in the week prior to vacation. It gets him in the Disney spirit.

And they are still not done with the installation. It is 99 at our house right now. Only 88 in the house...

I can still remember the two weekends it took Hal to put in our air conditioning. He would come down from the attic with insulation all over him. While he was up there every once in a while I could hear a thump and then lots of curse words. He would forget how low the roof was and would his head on the nails!!! All this was done in July and it was about as hot as it is now. When he was finally done, he turned it on and got the temp inside down to 57 cause he wanted to make sure that sucker worked as he put it!!!

We could hope!
They are done and this thing is quiet! It has gotten up to 102 here and it had to be close to 100 in the house since it was standing wide open all morning. It is now down to 86 so I think it might be working!
Oh, and all our runs are in the crawl space so no need to be in an attic for these hard-working men!

Chris just called and is on his way home. He is so hot. No air conditioning in the shop. I'm making him a fruit smoothie, hopefully that will help a bit.

Good Morning,
My Spa day was wonderful yesterday, it was at the IP Casino Senses Spa, I think I could live there. I definitely want to go back with both of my daughters and have a girls day at the spa.
This morning I have to go have bloodwork done, (just routine) and then we're going to take Brandon shopping for school uniforms and supplies.
Anne Marie, loved your pictures of Charleston, even though I've never been there I have an older brother who was born there.
Hope you're all managing to stay cool
