Delaware Seashore State Park , trip report.

looks really nice. I have friends that love Cape Henlopen as their place to be near the water. I think I am more of a mountain and lake camper these days. Though I would go to outer banks again given the opportunity.

Ok , so today was beach day. And then jetski in the afternoon. I will say the jet ski place was great. 1 hour for 130$ and got to switch riders. They had a large enough area to ride hard if you wanted to. I dumped the jetski, lol. It was hot so it was worth it. The people were nice and helped you out, so as soon as we hit the water they were there to se if we were ok. Parking wasnt on site, but it was 3 $ and hour, so not bad. Just wish I had the heads up. Parking the 2500 in a parking lot sometimes is harder then it has to be. Ither then that I higy recomend it. Dewey Beach Watersport. I used it because it was the closest to the campground. At 10 mins away. One hour was more then adequate to spped around.

Dont know where the time went. Lol. We did the beach again yeaterday. Kido got crushed by a rouge wave. So, that was it for the beach. We were supost to do a crab walk thing at night to find goast crabs, but that was postponed due to lightning. We may do it tonight, but its weather depandent. I took a picture of one of the look out towers, its pretty cool all lit up. Also of the full moon. We went shopping for trinkets, and to a really cool shipwreck museum. All the stuff in the museum was found and brought up by one guy.

Ok , dinner at a so so place. We went for the waterfront marina veiw. The food was bla. Its right next to the campground but I can not recomended it other then for a beer. Nothing else. No mixed drinks or food. Then is was ghost crab hunt on the beach. This was surprisingly fun and free. We missed it last night but tonight it was on. So, some pictures! Tomorrow we leave. So not more else to report on. I did learn a ton about ghost crabs. And I never saw or heard of them in nj.

Love, love, love the funky mermaid-like creature and the ghost crabs. I am going to keep these places in mind for a possible future vacation.

Forgot to say i am home now , but I went into work the next day after we got home and have now worked 96 hours out of a possible 120. So i am stll at work. Lol. Trip is over camper is smitting in the yard. Still have to uppack it and clean it out, for me camping season is over.
