Dining plan and AP/DVC discount

Hi,

If you buy extras such as an appetiser or extra drinks on top of your dining plan credit does anyone know if they would they still apply the AP or DVC discount to the chargeable extras on the bill?

Trying to price compare our particular ADRs between DDP and OOP!

I don’t know, because I’ve never done that. But I don’t see why they couldn’t/wouldn't give you the discount. They could always do it as a separate transaction I would think.

In my case, yes they allowed me to use my AP discount when purchasing “extras.”

I expect what is included on AP/DVC discounts will be different from restaurant to restaurant. It's not a one-size fits all discount across all of them. There used to be a list of the discounts on the AP and DVC sites..... that might spell it out better.
