Disney Character Nuggets

For the mint covers, the first ones I did I didn't reduce them but from then on I did reduce them to a smaller size.

How small did you make these? If people would prefer, I can make them the smaller size. Just let me knowQ

Hey,
First of all, glad that you are back, hope you did have a good visit with your family.
I reduced the mintbooks down to about the size of a regular matchbook for the shower. The ones for the grandkids, I printed 3 to a page and they were a little bigger which is ok.
Everyone loved what I did with your designs from Willy Wonka, and I did give you credit for everything. You would not have believed everything that my sister in law did, everyone said it was the best shower that they had ever been to.
Now to working on candy bar wrappers and water bottles for the reception, only have to do 250 for that.
Thanks again.
Dean

For anyone who has made the mint designs:

I am wanting to make these for just a single lifesaver - like Telynn had in the example.

Did you use the design at full size dimensions or did you shrink it down? I could figure it out if I had bought the Lifesavers already but won't get out to buy them until tomorrow and really wanted to start printing them tonight.

If anyone has already printed these for just a lifesaver - please let me know what size you used.

Thanks!

Amy - I printed mine on 3x5 notecards and they were the perfect matchbook size, AND the weight of the paper was just right too. I used just a single lifesaver in mine, too!

Kara,
Thanks for the reply - We just got back from Disneyland last night and we had made 70 mint favors. The kids handed them out to the Cast Members all over the park. It was very fun and the kids even got some extra little perks because of them.

I printed the YOMD one (roughly 5 x 2 inches - 7 to an 8 1/2 x 11 page of cardstock)

Telynn,
Thank you very much for the design and they were very easily resizeable so I do not see a need to change the design on your part. That way if people want the large one - that option is still available.

Here is a picture of some of them. I preferred them on the white cardstock but ran out so I used just whatever I already had laying around.

This is great Amy! I'm glad the kids got involved! Isn't it fun to spread the magic?

You're right, unless someone is unable to resize I'll be keeping the DISigns the same size. It'll save me a lot of space on Photobucket and 4shared.

Thank you for posting the picture!

:) I saw a candy bar wrapper design I think you did. I had a design that said "Week" of a Million Dreams instead of Year. Could I please get something like this that says "We're on our way to our Week of a Million Dreams". I just need it on one of the cards for the Mentos boxes. Could you also post just the "Week" design by itself. I wanted to try to make a label for an odd sized pack of gum. Thanks in advance. :)

I have the Altoids Tin size card and it can be resized if necessary....

And here is the logo I modified to read "Week" instead of year:

How cute!!
I'd love to hear what the CM's reactions were - and what kind of extra perks they got....

Telynn
My ds and family are headed to Disneyland next weekend and I have made some of your matchbook mints to take with them. Hopefully DGD will not eat them all and share them with everyone. I think now with the shirts and the mints they have everything except ME, I wanna go with them and see dgds reaction. But that is an awful expensive trip on top of our upcoming Sept. trip, so I will have to settle for lots of pictures.
Thanks again for your amazing designs.

How cute!!
I'd love to hear what the CM's reactions were - and what kind of extra perks they got....

Some of them were a little confused at first and then said "Thanks" but most of the CM's thought they were very cute and were very appreciative. One YOMD CM said he was going to save it, that he has been saving things like this he has received from people since he has been working there. It was a lot of fun. We only had one CM that would not take one. That was kinda weird.

Some of the perks were:

One CM at one of the rides - after my daughter gave him his mint, he said "hold on" and came back and gave her a Tinkerbell pin.

After the Sword in the Stone Ceremony (the second consecutive one - my daughter really wanted to be picked - and didn't), my daughter went up and gave Merlin a mint. He called her over and talked to her for awhile and then he posed for some pictures with her in front of the sword. That was really cool.

And last, but not least, they helped us get on the new Toy Story Mania ride - AP preview. The ride is not open yet and they were only letting AP people ride it who had won the opportunity to ride (I signed us up online, but didn't win). We figured we would walk by and see if we could get on. The CM said you had to check in outside the park and she wasn't sure if they were letting any non winners on or not. We told her we were leaving in two hours insinuating that walking all that way, we wouldn't have enough time. She was very friendly and we were fine with the fact that it didn't look like we would get on but it was worth a shot. Then both of my children handed her a mint. She thought they were really cute and said "hold on", after talking to her manager, she walked us up to the line and told the CM taking the tickets that we were good to go without a ticket. We were floored and so excited! We never expected that! So, in effect, WE were dreamed!

It was so funny because the people in front of us in line said "you must be special, you even get a personal escort into the line".

We didn't go with the idea of passing them out to receive anything in return but what we got was more than I could have imagined. Well worth the money, ink and time. But seeing how appreciative everyone was - was the real payoff. I thought 70 was too many at first but we could have easily handed out way more. It was fun!

Hi Telynn!

I was just asked to come up with "favors" for our church's Vacation Bible School this week, and I immediately thought of the mint holders with some kind of candy thing. Would you be willing to create designs for this project? I would need these designs by Friday at the latest (in order to have time to make them for Sunday's service), so if you can't get to this by then, I completely understand...

This would be for the back and would be the same for all:

PowerLab_logo_color_S.jpg

These little guys would go on the front (one per front):

Dewd_color_S.jpg

Sparki_color_S.jpg

SqueakyBeaker_color_S.jpg

electra_color_S.jpg

fizz_color_S.jpg

max_color_S.jpg

And the tabs could say "VBS 2008"

I know that this is short notice, but if you could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

LOL...they're cute! I'll be happy to create them for you (BTW, check your PM)

Telynn

Just wanted to thank you again for making the Star Wars nugget wrappers. We enjoyed these and the others during our June trip to the World. We left them at restuarants and for the maid. It was really fun.

My DS went to scout camp last week and my husband suprised him by staying overnight mid-week. I sent puppy chow his favorite treat and bubble gum wrapped in the Star Wars wrappers. They were a huge hit, although non of the boys wanted Princess Leia.

Thanks for making not only our Disney trip special, but also a lot of scouts happy at camp!!
