How long did it take you to plan your magical Disney trip?
Well, I'm working on planning now and we are not going for 2 years. There is a certain amount of planning involved. Fastpass+, dining, which parks you are going to visit and on which day. I've already started to think about which parks that I want to go to and where to eat for dinner/lunch/breakfast. If you like to plan, this is the vacation for you. Also, bank on about 8-10 months total for planning, just to get a good idea of what you are going to be doing, but once you have decided where, when, which restaurants the longest part will be waiting to make your reservations 6 months out and then 60 days out for your FP+. Happy planning!!

- In your experience, how significantly does the price (for renting points / or amount of points needed) fluctuate from when they're first available. Shellyj, you mentioned you like to book exactly 11 months out - is that due to price or availability?
- Are there any difference with ADR, wristbans, or FP reservations when renting DVC points vs booking directly with Disney?
