Nothing as of yetHas anyone seen operating hours for the line from Pop/AoA yet? Trying to make sure I didn’t miss it. Not sure why it wouldn’t have been listed when others were?
Yes, the "boarding pass" distributed to previewing cm's states that it will be open 9/29 for CBR Guests to use.Perhaps I missed it. Does anyone know if the Riviera station will be open when the Skyliner opens?
Just an observation about gondola's. I used one this past weekend to go up to Wild Cat Mt. Gorgeous view of the presidential range! But...we had a hot spell, which for us was hot, 85 degrees. It was HOT in the gondola's. I didn't like it. But as the poster said, you get to choose. I don't do Disney in the Summer and I really don't care how cold they are in the Winter. For me, anything is better than suffocating in the heat. Just saying.
Talk about misleading. If you're going to a Disney resort, you aren't standing in the sun. Every single bus station is shaded. Each of us will choose the option that works best for us.
I will still choose a continually loading gondola with tinted windows over waiting in the FL sun for a bus.

I think comfort level would depend on how many people are in the gondola. Obviously the more people, the more claustrophobic it will seem.not sure if you watched the video of the Passport to the Parks where he got his first ride but he has some fears of heights and found that he was fairly comfortable in the gonodola and it felt open and not that high, etc.
Obviously everyone is different but at least one report of a person with some concerns of the height that felt ok with them
True, I forgot about that. I was only thinking of the bus stations at the parks. I forgot the bus stops at the value resorts are not shaded. Not at most of the value resorts.
2 different civilians tried to board at IG and were denied.I saw a report from WDWMagic that the Skyliner was open for everyone today, at least the line to DHS. If anyone is at Pop/AOA or CBR today and could confirm that would be great!
And even if they're in shorter supply, or someday no longer offered, there are the Minnie Vans.Nobody is being forced to take this type of transportation. Buses and boats with AC are still available.
Sorrrryyyy - the Skyliner is for authorized personnel only, The Moose out front shoulda toldya!2 different civilians tried to board at IG and were denied.
Yes, that is the one. They have two little windows that slide down on the doors and one small hole in the roof. Very Hot...and it wasn't as hot as Florida. This Gondola? https://www.skiwildcat.com/scenic-gondola/
Not sure you can really compare the two, as that does not look to have the same venting to deal with the Florida heat.

The bus stop at Pop is NOT covered (unless they added it recently). Been there, done that, it was hot.Talk about misleading. If you're going to a Disney resort, you aren't standing in the sun. Every single bus station is shaded.
I'd hope they follow the same schedule as the buses/monorail/boats - one hour before park open/one hour after park close.Nothing as of yet
