I think the past couple of months have been an emotional roller coaster for most people, and the safety standards where you live can play a large role in your perspective of what will be expected at the parks.
I live in San Francisco, which has had pretty strict standards since the beginning. So for me, the park reopening requirements are not that different from what my new normal has been for the past couple of months.
However, if you're coming from a city/county/state that does not require even half of what will be required at the parks, I can definitely see how it would be a culture shock to be expected to adapt during a vacation. During normal times, we expect to be able to let loose and just enjoy ourselves. If you choose to go to the parks in the near future, it all of a sudden becomes a time of stressful preparation, and it's hard to ignore all the usual things that won't be included.
Not everyone will be rational in their expectations or reactions, and it's just a part of human nature. Knowing something might not happen doesn't make it any easier when it becomes a reality. I'm very nervous about the possibility of advanced reservations, what a day at the parks will feel like, and how other people around me will behave.
I do truly worry for the CMs. Many of us have seen the less glamorous interactions they're forced to deal with, and I can only imagine how much more the new rules will put them in the line of fire. All we can do is be kind to them, follow the rules, and be as patient as possible.
