DVC Mike Live at VGF (Mar 1-8)

It seems like I haven't done a trip report in such a long time.

We checked into VGF late today, March 1st. Our 1-BR lake view was ready. This was our third stay at VGF, and this is without doubt my wife’s favorite resort.

Walked out on the balcony a bit before 6:25 PM, and had just missed the colors of the sunset. I’ll take some shots of the view in the daytime tomorrow.

It’s good to be back at WDW. It’s time to relax.

Wow such beautiful pictures. I stayed at the GF for the first time Christmas week 2012 while DVC was under construction. While I knew it would be nice the 1 bedroom looks spectacular. Looking forward to your TR. Have a wonderful trip.

Here is a direct view, taken inside the room, of what you see of the lake view when standing back about 15 feet inside the room. I used HDR to show both the inside and outside (so the room wouldn't be black or the window bright white).

My wife and I agree that a lake view is worth the extra points over a standard view.

OK, so it’s our first full day here. What are we doing?

Well, Mrs DVC Mike is spending most of the day (10am - 4:30pm) at Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian.

Me? Just relaxing. No theme park today, although I’ll most likely hit the MK on Monday.

I did walk around the Grand Floridian this morning, and here are a few shots I took.

What am I doing right now (well, right now I’m posting this, but you know what I mean)? I’m sitting here relaxing, enjoying the view.
