Quick question, is this an extra admission cost for the annual
show?

Thanks!
Glad to have found you guys.. this is my first official
"gardening year" Just planted a Rose garden!

Next up.. Azaleas.
Any advice?
Kathy

Welcome to the Garden Forum, TinkerKat. I see you're a fellow Long Islander. :D I bought 8 or so azalea bushes last spring from a place that grows them out at Exit 58. They told me not to fertilize them the first year because it would burn the roots. The red ones I planted out front are now blooming. The two in the back which are pink are not blooming yet. I wonder if it is because of the color difference? Anyway, that's all I have to offer so far.

Hi Tinker:

No, there is no extra admission for the Flower and Garden festival. I'll be heading out there this weekend, and will be posting pictures and info here!!

Thanks,
Pete

Thanks Pete!

And Tulirose.. Thanks for the welcome. Gotta tell ya, the 12 years
I'm here on Long Island (I'm a Bronx Girl) every tells me.. go "Out East"
But I never know where Out East I need to go!
Do happen to know of anyone "out East" who sells Abervities ?
(Sorry! I know that's spelled wrong!)I'm looking for fairly large ones
for privacy... 5-6 feet or better!

Thanks again!
Kathy

Pete, looking forward to pics. I'll be there on "closing"
weekend.

I wanna go to the flower show!!!! This will be the first year in about 5 that my wife and I missed it....

Looking forward to seeing your pic's.

Love Epcot during this festival.

Some of my garden ideas have come from Epcot.

Tinkerkat - I got a K-Mart flyer this weekend and thought of you! Did you see? Arborvitaes - $5.49 for 1 gallon container, globe or upright varieties! Can't hurt to check that out!

Boosting up to make sure Tinkerkat saw this.

Thanks! Tulirose... going to check them out after I pick-up
a "must have" patio swing that Costco just got in!
Woo hoo! You know how that goes, if you see it, run
bakc and get it cause it could be GONE tomorrow!
Bought some beautiful New Guinea Impatiens.

Thanks for bumping it up!
Kathy

We went to the Flower and Garden Festival on Saturday. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. Frankly, I was disappointed with the displays around the World Showcase. In the past we have seen TONS of great stuff there, but this year it seems like there wasn't as much. We didn't spend much time in Future World, so maybe there were more great flower displays there.
