For those who have been to Disney with a large group of friends I have a question.

How do you handle people being split up and going to different places in the day, if you even split up at all. So you have meeting places to be together at certain parts of the day or a meal you eat together?

Thanks:earsboy:

we got married there with 50 friends and family
we didnt plan anything just met up here and there.we did meet for meals which was fun and did do animal kingdom and 18 of us got on the safari that was pretty fun

We go often with large group of family and friends. If it is different families going together, we have found that it is almost impossible to all stay together during the day. Best thing is to split up and bring either cell phones to connect or walkie talkies. You will need the radios with the additional channels to work in the parks. We had no problem with any interference.
We go this week with 8 family members so for the most part we will stay together. Only works with close family members.

We went with friends last year and only met up for a fireworks cruise and occassional meals.

I agree that it is nearly impossible to stay together with a large group. Some want to sleep in and meet you later the park; some like thrill rides while others want shows, etc. What has worked for us in the past is to meet for meals (make it a PS restaurant so people will honor the time....otherwise, there are always a few who wander up WAY late and slow everyone else down!). We also use cell phones for touching base throughout the day. Most important is that everyone knows what the plan is before you go....that way expectations are appropriate and you won't need to stress out trying to make everyone happy :D

We set up meeting places/times throughout the day-such at 7am at the food court, 8am at the bus stop, 12noon for lunch, 3pm for the parade, 5pm for dinner...etc.
