We had a nice weekend at Sea World and then IOA.
We've only ever snacked at IOA/US so finally decided to try out Mythos. It was really good!
First, I took a snapshot of the menu because the only one I found online was from 2008! The prices have gone up quite a bit. That being said, we spent less here than when we go to Outback and the food was much better.
Here is an image of the inside. The place looks really cool...
We ordered an appetizer and I'm sorry, I totally forgot to take a pic. It was a flatbread (really like a long cracker) and it had mushrooms, mozerella, tomatoes, and a mushroom infused truffle sauce. I think I have a new love for truffle stuff. We devoured it! It was really pretty and I'm mad that I forgot the pic.
I got the Risotto of the day which was a shrimp and lamb. I decided to try it because I had never had a Risotto. It was delicous and I ate every bite!
DH got the filet which came with truffle butter (OMG!!), mashed potatoes and crispy onions. I snuck a bite and it was super tasty. It was only 9 oz though...perect for me but left my DH wanting more.
My 17 year old daughter got the pad thai. Very good and a HUGE portion (DH shoulda got that, lol)
My 17 year old son got a burger. It was huge and I didn't get a pic. He said it was very good.
My 5 year old got the kid's steak. It was good but I ordered it medium and it was almost well done. It was too tough for him so he didn't eat much.
Mythos is really wonderful and you can't beat the price. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before. Definately a must do!
The next day...Another new thing we tried was Three Broomsticks at HP world in IOA. My DH was getting a new tattoo at Citywalk and my oldest boy was with him, so since it was just me, my daughter, and younger son....we didn't get the Big Feast.
First thing I must say, I had no idea Three Broomstick was counter service. I thought it was TS. They also give you an enormous amount of food for the money and it was VERY good. This will likely be the only CS I ever eat again at IOA/US.
I got the chicken salad. It was super good but SOO big and I wasn't that hungry. I couldnt even eat half. Next time I'm going to just get myself a kid's meal. I think the salad was $9 or $10
My son got the chicken drumstick kid's meal. It's hard to tell by the pic but the drumsticks were huge! The chicken was very moist and fell right off the bone. It wasn't dry like I am used to with CS. It was only $5.99 and next time I go, I am going to just get that for myself.
My daughter got the fish n chips which was very good as well. It wasnt too greasy and I really liked it. (Yes, I snuck a bite)
And of course we got a couple butter beers...
At Suessland, all the Who's were out. I thought they looked kinda creepy but my little one had fun holding the can of who hash.
I also bought a cute little candied apple snowman from that candy store right outside the Sneetch train. We took it home and ate it tonight.
The massacre!!
