OK yes I know it is stupid STUPID to go this weekend... However my mom INSISTS (she has some severe heart and lung medical problems and is going in for a heart cath this next week sometime. She swears she may not live {I do not think it's that serious, but we did get scary news Dec 23 which luckily was incorrect {we hope, thats what she will find out next week} plus it's the only time *I* have off to go.

We are taking my son who is 14 and has social anxiety (again stupid I know). However he is on new meds... so thats good and they seem to be working (better then past meds).

What can I do to assist him in making this trip as pleasent and easiest as possible? Is there anything I can do for him to make it easier?

For my mom who is on Oxygen, what would make it easiest for her? Say scooters or even a wheelchair? *I* think she'd like the wheelchair but somehow we have to hook the o2 to it. Suggestions?

For smaller kids... do they have double strollers?

Has anyone stayed @ the Hilton Anaheim hotel? It says it's the Disneyland hotel.

To help your son: get a GAC by going to guest services. Explain his needs like he gets upset when in close quarters with lots of people. The GAC can allow your son to wait in a quite place or place off to the side instead of in the direct line. Show it to the CM at the show or ride entrance.

Definitely rent a wheelchair. There's a lot of walking even for a healthy person. We rented from an off site company for my Grandma that delivered to our hotel. You can request an oxygen tank holder to be placed on it. You could rent a wheelchair at Disneyland but they're first come first serve. I would NOT do a scooter because it takes time to learn to drive them and they're much more expensive.

You can see Disneyland from the Hilton and it's about a 10-15 minute walk. There's also a shuttle.

About the heart cath: it isn't very pleasant and can be scary. My grandma went to get hers checked and ended up admitted to the hospital for a triple bypass on her heart...

Hope you have a good trip!
