I feel that if you really want to go to Disney, you will wear a mask. Lets be honest, there are those who won't go in the summer because of the heat anyway. Now if you don't want to wear a mask in the heat, go another time. I love Disney and if they say mask I will happily wear a mask. We go 3 times a year, one of those times is in August - We sweat like crazy normally so a mask really won't make me sweat that much more. As for glasses fogging up, I wear glasses and find if the mask fits tightly over the nose, I never fog up!
I can definitely see your point, but I think ppl (SOME) are assuming that there are people that should wear a mask because they REALLY want to go Disney -
Background for a sec.- We are.currently in the epicenter of hell - NYC
DD 14 missed out on everything associated with middle school graduation - prom, graduation ceremony, senior trip - you name it !
We have gone to Disney every single year (sometimes 3-4 x a year) since my kids were 6 months old)
We are currently booked from July 14- August 3 - our longest trip to date. Trust me - it's all.we talk about and we want to go so badly - but my feeling is many that REALLY want to go to "Disney" , don't want to go because of the mask - to us, it just wouldn't be Disney - not the Disney we know -
Our joy in Disney ( we are more food ppl than ride ppl) is walking around World Showcase trying different foods - each trip, we try and find two restaurants to try that we've never been to - ( in all the parks and DS total)
If you told me no more TS restaurants, I wouldn't go either
Doesn't mean I REALLY don't want to go. Some may argue that we can still enjoy CS, and that might be true - to an extent - but to us, it just wouldn't be Disney anymore - maybe Disney-lite or Disney 2.0?
