There isn't any info up for Marathon Weekend, but a quick look at a couple still available for Wine & Dine shows anywhere from $600-1000 required for the half marathon only. Not sure if that includes registration or not, though.

Each charity is different on what they require, what's included etc.. You'll need to research each one to see what sounds works for you

I run with Homes for our Troops and it is $600 to raise in addition to the registration fee for the race. Quality organization with one of the highest donation ratings you will find out there. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

With most of the groups I looked at when researching, the fundraising amount was in addition to the registration.

Check out what each group is offering to see what fits your needs and interests. We get our racing jerseys, fundraising support, a dinner during race weekend, discounted rooms rates, and more. plus they are a great way to meet some awesome people.

I really believe in that group, but was really afraid I couldnt get the funds raised ( have never been good at that) and didnt want to stress about that PLUS training plus just everything else we have going on in our lives.
