Confirmed Information regarding the WDW Theme Parks will be updated in this 1st Post and in the Title by the TPAS Moderators.

Information on Hurricane Irma

Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney Springs have returned to normal, advertised operating hours.

This means that all restaurants located on Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground property will remain closed. This includes Hoop-de-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey’s Backyard BBQ.

Polk County has enacted a mandatory curfew in effect from 12:00a (midnight) through 5:00a. Curfew remains in effect until power is restored throughout the county.

ChampionsGate, Omni Resort, Posner Park, Del Webb, Davenport, Lakeland, Winter Haven, and Haines City are in Polk County.***

Disney announces all 4 Theme Parks Open: Tuesday, Sept. 12!

Magic Kingdom Park will be open 9am to 7pm, with Extra Magic Hours from 8am to 9am and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from 7pm to Midnight.


Epcot will be open from 9am to 9pm, with Extra Magic Hours from 9pm to 11pm.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open from 9am to 9pm.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 9am to 9pm.

Disney Springs will be open from 10am to 12am.

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beachwater parks remain closed.


***Early Morning Magic (EMM): Canceled for Tuesday 9/12 @ MK***

***If you are in the Orlando/Disney area, a curfew will be in effect from 7:00p Sunday through 6:00p Monday.

All Resort Guests must be on their Resort premises while the curfew is in effect. Food courts, restaurants, and bars/lounges will be open at the Resorts.***

Disney on Ice just postponed all performances (it was scheduled to come to the Orlando Amway this weekend). Stay safe everyone!

In anticipation of inclement weather associated with Hurricane Irma, please note the following event cancelations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Night of Joy has been canceled on Saturday, September 9, 2017.


The Night of Joy performances on Friday night will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as planned, while Saturday night’s performances have been canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

• Guests with tickets for Saturday are welcome to attend Friday’s event instead by exchanging their ticket at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box Office starting at 4:00pm Friday.
• Requests for a full refund for either event night will be honored by using the contact information listed below.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled on Sunday, September 10, 2017.


Guests are invited to exchange their Sunday, September 10 event tickets for one of the following options:

• Tickets to attend another Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
• Tickets to attend an upcoming Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
• 1 Day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper Option, to be used within the next two years.
• Receive a full refund for event tickets.
