Shenanigans, indeed! I was Bonvoyed as well yesterday. I have a reservation this Tuesday for two nights, paid on cash, for which I received a confirmation a few weeks ago.
Yesterday I received an email confirmation for ONE night. Fortunately when I called the hotel they were able to fix it. It's for
Disneyland Fairfield Inn, so if it had been June instead of January I am sure I would have been SOL.
How does this even happen? Also, all the notes the CSR attached to the original reservation had disappeared, like room request, late check out, etc. This is my first solo Disney visit so nothing better get in the way of my fun! YOU LISTENING TO ME MARRIOTT???
