I’m sure this has been previously discussed, so forgive me if this is a really common question but: would you say that the pool view rooms are significantly louder than a standard view room? From my understanding, the “regular” standard view room is of a rooftop, parking lot or entrance loop. Looking at booking something for spring 2022 and unfortunately the savannah views are out of our budget but the pool view might be a fun substitution.

We had a pool view in October and liked it. The noise level jumped when we opened the glass door, but we were doing so to go out and look over the pool, so pool noise was expected when on the balcony. Inside the room, I thought the door insulated noise well when we closed it. We were never disturbed by pool noise inside the room.

I am looking to book a 2 bedroom suite CL at AKL for a special celebration next June. Does anyone know if the 2 bed club rooms have good Savannah views or does anyone have any experience of these and what to request?

Thursday night 8/26. We will be there using DVC at Jambo so I’ll be able to give updates about how it changes.

You were asking about confirmation that the Club level will reopen when the Jambo House hotel rooms reopen. A lot of bloggers posted about it, but I never saw anything directly from Disney. One blogger said that Disney gave information to travel agents about the club levels reopening. I didn't see anything on the Disney website or the Disney parks blog.

We are booked for AKL CL Sept 4-8. It's our first time staying club level so I'm excited!

According to a site that I can’t list here, Cast Members at Animal Kingdom Lodge have been telling guests that reopening dates have been set for Boma, Jiko and Victoria Falls Lounge.

This is still a rumour, but feels like a credible one.

Boma is scheduled to reopen on Aug 20th.
Victoria Falls Lounge is scheduled to reopen on Aug 26th.
Jiko is scheduled to reopen in late September.

With the recent return of serve yourself buffets at Disneyland (Storytellers Cafe) I am really hopeful that Boma will return as a buffet

I am so hoping this is true!! We were supposed to go to Jiko for the first time in 2019, but hurricane Dorian had other plans and almost everything in the resort shut down early afternoon. Going back in January 2022 and it better be open!

I got it from a CM at the Jambo front desk when I checked in a couple of weeks ago... not as good as getting it from a bus driver, I know, but he did seem to know what he was talking about LOL
