we are going to be staying in kissammee, and i was wondering how far it is to ksc, and could we see it all in a day or would we have to make two trips

It is about an hour and a half drive (more or less depending on you) and you can see most of it in one day. We were there from opening until 3:00 in the afternoon and took the bus tour and saw two Imax movies and some of the exhibits.

It likely will not even take one full day, leaving the evening hours free for other activities.
