If you have kids are you buying convention passes for them. If so are you buying them for all of your kids. Trying to decide what to do. Even thinking about making this a big people only trip, but I think I would feel too guilty to have a good time. If I bring the kids I'll have to add on days.

I registered for the hotel pkg. for all of us. It was just too much trouble trying to figure it all out...a couple hundred dollars is worth it to me to not have to deal with this....yet. :D Plus, I don't know how your kids feel about this, but I figure both dessert parties, dinner at Epcot, and the character breakfast are things my kids would NOT want to miss. :D :) ;)

It's vacation....live a little. :)

Did I figure wrong. Is it going to run me about 700. to bring 3 kids over 10?

If any of us are going, then all of us are going. There's no way I can leave the kids (ages 12 and 5) behind while telling them we're doing one of those things. If we decide to save some money, we'll cancel the event stuff altogether, and just be there for some of the free things like meetings. But since my kids have never been to WDW, it's all or nothing for us.

Good luck deciding Tiggeroo. :)

Oh Tiggeroo....is that right?

I only have one over 10...sorry. I think I shot my mouth off a little pre-maturely...not knowing your siutation. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif" alt="red face"> I would definitely have to think out that much money!

I think if your spouse is coming, perhaps you could switch off days with the kids...??? Geez, I don't know. <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Good Luck with your decision. <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif" alt="red face">

I too am wondering if the cost for the kids is worth it for us. They are 7 and 4, and the TOT rental is of no use to us (R&R would be another story). I'm wondering if I should leave them with my folks in florida, and invite them for all the freebies. What do ya think?

mnbrowns.....it really depends on your kids I think. I know the 2 hours of TOT will be thoroughly enjoyed by my DH and my 10 y/o, but I wasn't even considering that when I got them full packages...I was just thinking of the character breakfast, 2 dessert parties with AWESOME shows!!!, the dinner at Epcot, and the welcoming and good-bye'ing stuff. :D Wouldn't it be easier to just have them with you?

I have to say though, if I had parents in Florida I could be very tempted to go-it-alone for the most part too. :D ;)

No, I probably couldn't do that. My kids are Disney freaks as much as DH and myself. :) <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">
