LA Zoo in Cooler Weather

Hey all!
Looking at possibly going to the LA Zoo next week. The 7 day forecast right now shows the high being in the mid 50s . Now I know that can change between now and then, but I'm curious if anyone has done the zoo in Cooler weather. Are the animals still out and about or are they going to be more dormant?

There are still animals out and about in cooler weather.

I go often in winter and spring.
