Greetings and salutations from your perpetually humble chat hosts here at the Saturday Night Chat Institute Of Wine, Pizza, and Television Studies!!
Well, the holidays are finally behind us, and as another new year dawns its time to take down the decorations and let go of the visions of sugar plums; brightly wrapped gifts; 8 tiny reindeer; Yule tide greetings. . . knife fighting drunken mall Santas; stressful family get togethers where long held grudges explode into vicious, tinsel hued brawls; weeping parents wondering the aisles of Wal Mart cursing the Sega corporation with white, trembling lips; senior citizens clawing each other like wild animals in front of festively adorned discount bins while a gangsta rap version of Silent Night blares endlessly in the back ground and all the other wonderful traditions of the season. . . until next September when itll start all over again.:
But for now, as the snow piles up and the frost settles in on the window panes, it is once again time to partake in that oldest of winter traditions . . . . .
Thats right, Im talking luau!
Yes, tonight we are pleased to announce that Disney After Dark will be heading to tropical splendor of the The Polynesian Resort where we will be eating mahi-mahi and drinking rum out coconut shells at the fabulous Polynesian Luau!!
That's right kids; nestled behind the Poly under the stars, this small amphitheater features an all you eat feast. . . Well sample the various treats while poor CMs in Mickey suits juggle flaming torches for our entertainment. . .
So why not fire up your computer, put on a grass skirt, and join your chat hosts Marla and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal Atmosphere. As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
Everyone's invited, so see ya there!
