Yes, Celebration is awesome! Imagine living in a town full of other Disney nuts and being able to decide on the spur of the moment "I think I want to see Illuminations tonight" and then just hopping in your car and being there in ten minutes. The only downside right now is that we got overrun with investors so many, many properties are in foreclosure. It will be interesting to see how that all shakes out.
Here is an example of the best thing about living here: both Tony and I were going through major Disney withdrawal tonight so he said, "Let's go to Jiko for dinner!" I have 407-WDW-DINE on speed dial, and they were able to get us in. If we squinted, we could pretend it was the Grand Californian. But the sad part was that thirty-some companions weren't there waiting for us, along wiith Diana, Quinn, and the ever-present ABD paddle to follow.

Day Three, Part Two of Backstage Magic
...
After dinner, we all trooped over to Disneyland for a special surprise. Since we got there after dark, it was a very appropriate experience: a ride on the Haunted Mansion! Our whole group had its own stretching room, and five volunteers (my husband included) got to experience it from a unique perspective. Then we all loaded into doom buggies to enjoy a Disneyland classic
Tracey here - I've got the raw text version of the trip report almost done - the finished product so far is available on our website: http://www.wileenet.com/DisneyTripReports/AbD_BackStageMagic/index.htm
Disneygrl, feel free to contact me with questions about Celebration at any time.
Tracey,
Thanks for another perspective on the trip. Are you going to add more pictures? I really enjoyed the ones of the pre-adventure at DL.
Slowly but surely, the photos are going up - I think Scott got partway thru Walt's Barn last night. They get loaded to Webshots first, then he picks the cream of the crop to put in the trip report itself.
