May have been posted before, sorry if thats the "case".
Many of you will be familiar with the problem that when you are coming home, youve bought so much, you dont know if your luggage is going to be overweight...should you use your remaining money to pay baggage allowance fines, or can you buy more stuff !.
This happens every time to us as we buy so much stuff.
Heres the tip....go to the hunting section at Walmart, where the guns etc are. For $4.98 you can buy a pocket weighing scale thats designed for weighing dead animals/fish etc, and has a hook on the bottom.
It goes up to around 22kg on the scale, but it goes round the clock so you can work out more of a weight, probably up to 25 kg.
We found this to be very accurate to what the actual weight was at the airport, and its useful to know at the end, when all packed, you can go back and get another pair of jeans or something.
