I thought the Dr. Strange show was a little weak.... that being said, my 4 y.o. is still running around weeks later trying to open portals. It's a short show, around 30 minutes, and half of it is a pre-selected group of about 20 kids doing some training on stage (jumping through hoola-hoop portals, playing hot potato with magic balls, etc.). If your kid is not one of those selected, it was a little dull. The second half was better where you fight off the villain by helping Dr. Strange.
We happened to run into Dr. Strange in the hall on his way to the show -- he asked us what time it was and that he had to go prepare -- that was cool. In fact, having the Marvel characters freely roam around the ship on Marvel Day was probably one of the coolest parts. Coming around a corner, seeing Spider-Man and getting high fives, or seeing Loki and Cap have an impromptu altercation while passing each other on the stairs.... it was neat, even for an adult. You can never interact much with the Disney characters while they are being escorted to picture locations on the ship, but the Marvel characters were an open free-for-all and I was surprised by how often/easy it was to run into them and have one-on-one interactions. Kudos to
DCL for that decision.
