New Cabana Prices 2023

Castaway Cay Cabana 2023 Pricing Update Thank you to Scott at The Disney Cruise Line Blog for this information:​

Recently, Disney Cruise Line modified the pricing for the Cabanas at Castaway Cay. Guest with pre-booked cabana reservations will be charged the price at time of reservation, but going forward, new bookings will be priced as follows.

• The Family Beach Cabanas will now cost $797.50 – for up to six guests. The cabanas can accommodate up to 10 guests. An additional $50.00 + tax charge per person for guests 7-10.
• The Grand Cabana $21 will have a daily rate of $1,127.50 – for up to 10 guests. The Grand Cabana can accommodate up to 16 guests. An additional $50.00 + tax charge per person for guests 11-16.

Serenity Bay Cabanas

• The Serenity Bay Cabanas will have a daily rate of $493.90 – for up to four guests. The cabanas can accommodate up to 10 guests. An additional $50.00 + tax charge per person for guests 5-10.

Looks like you now have to pay for the cabana in advance, which I think is a good idea! Now only serious buyers will book them.

Pretty sure he means that anyone with a cabana already booked will pay the previous price, and new bookings will pay the new price.

You have to love it with Disney; they don't do incremental increases a bit at a time... No, they just tell you to bend over and breath deep because here it comes. But I guess you can't blame Disney as long as people (and I've been guilty) just hand over their money hand and fist no matter the price and bend over and say thank you may I have another.

Yes, that's the way it appears to be now.

Even though the increases are substantial (~19-33%?), it still seems a bit low given how quickly cabanas sell out.

I'm not sure I myself would use the wordage, "a bit low." LOL... But I agree on how quickly the cabanas sell out and understand where you are coming from. I also think it's only going to get worse as DCL increases the number of concierge suites on their future ships as they have on the Wish. It used to be almost a given if you booked concierge you'd get a cabana if you wanted. It's not the case now with the Wish. Disney could price these things at 1K or more and they'd still sell out.

Yes, but it's almost 5 years since those. I'm not saying they aren't steep, but it's not like they bumped the price last month and now jumped it that much.

My friend is sailing on RCCL next week and said it was $1,000 for a cabana. Surprised DCL did not charge the same.

I’m sincerely thankful that we have graduated to Serenity with DD now over 21.

I’m actually surprised it was that modest of a price jump. It’s not going to decrease demand unfortunately.
