In August 2004 we will be traveling on a family reunion with 5 children. The ages range from 9-12. Four of the children are in the 10-12 category which leaves one alone. That being said I have two questions.

1) Does the DCL ever allow a child one year below the age requirement join his older cousins or siblings?

2) If not, are the groups in the same area but broken up into their age groups?

Thank you so much for your help.

They will only bump a child up into the next age group if he/she is within one month of becoming old enough to be in that age group normally.

I don't know how many activities take place in the same area. I'm sure someone else can help with that.
