Hey Cathy! I know that drive well being a fellow GPer, best time on a straight run for me was 11 1/2hrs. The things we do for Disney, aye? Great pics from DLR and Universal
and yes, looks like your DD has some attitude, but she has to with two older brothers aye?
Great shot of you and your hubby on the good ole Oregon coast enjoy the sun but pack a jacket
I am sorry to hear about your moms passing but that is so wonderful that you and your sister were able to spend such a magical time with her, her smile says it all.
Ahhh, you have a little hyper female poodle too aye? We have two male CockaPoos and one female Toy and she runs the place.
I like your list of things to see, and we really enjoyed Aladdin in 2005 but somehow we didnt make time for it last fall and I regret it. And Ive heard similar things about Universal Studios in CA we went to US in Orlando and it was a lot of fun, mostly due to the fact that it expanded the idea of US in CA and then added an entire second theme park called Islands of Adventure that really fills out the place with some really fantastic rides. And theyre doing that who Harry Potter thing there now, my kids REALLY want to go back.
What a bummer about your friend not being able to go, and you are right about having an odd number. Our trip last fall was 5 people and it lead to some problems since most rides are 2-seaters. I hope your friend is able to find a way to come.
More great pictures, and I used the excuse that I was getting over the flu to not ride Grizzly when we were there ;-]
On the Goofys Kitchen Dinner I gave it a thumbs-up. We did it last October and it was a great way to end the day. We had a good meal, had great character interactions, then after the food settled my DW and I went up to the room and the kids played in the pool (we were staying at DLH for the first time). And I know your hesitation about taking pics of food I can take literally 1,000 pics in a day and still cant bring myself to take a picture of a plate of food.
As far as the extra day, why not take a cheesy stars bus tour? Just make sure the kids have their iPods to keep themselves entertained. Oh, and if you get a chance try Pinks Hot Dog Stand on Melrose best freakin hot dogs around and lots of star sightings there.
Great PTR looking forward to hearing more!
