parking at logan

any of you northern folks give me some tips for the best place to leave a car at logan, boston is? Any discount coupons, etc available

Hello,

The daily rate at Logan is $22 for central parking. You can try www.loganpark.com that is an off site parking area. I think they run about $79 for the week. It is not far from the airport maybe 5-10 min at the most. They do have coupons on their website.

Since you are coming from Rhose island area
instead of Parking at Logan why not stop at Logan express facilities in Braintee and park there and take the bus to Logan!!! beats driving into boston yourself and parking!!

If you can get off in Quincy and follow the signs to Harbor Express and take the boat you can park here too

Park & Fly packages at hotels are another option:

We were going to do the Logan Express this coming Aug. But, after running the numbers, I figured that it was actually a little less to go to Logan and park for a week. There will be three of us going and after the Express fares, and parking, it works out to be a little more. Looks like we'll be long-term parking too. But $80 isn't too bad. We spent that at Green last year. Only Worcester has been cheaper but no flights out of there anymore!!

Another option is to stay at the Hyatt Harborside Hotel on the park and fly program. I recently reserved a room for $169 for next February and they allow you to park your car for 7 days. This Hyatt is at the airport. This may not appeal to you if you are on a strict budget but if you have to leave your car at the airport the central parking garage at the airport was around $130 last time I checked. The airport has at least one other satellite lot I have use that cost me $80 for a week last May and the lot was not even fenced in. If you park in the Central Parking Garage give yourself at least 20 minutes to walk to the terminal. I know it can be done faster but who needs the stress of a marathon run to start off a vacation.
If you park at a satellite lot leave yourself at least 20 minutes to get to the terminal by shuttle bus. Logan Airport has ben under construction the last couple of years and there is always the possibility of construction at the airport causing a slight delay.
