pin trading ending??

Is disney stopping the pin thing this year? I thought I read somewhere that pins were ending 2001 but now I can't remember when or where I saw this

When they originally introduced pin trading it was intended to be a Millenium event and end on 12/31/2000. However, they are making so much money off of us pin addicts that they announced that it would now be part of the Disney experience permanently. They are now officially "Continuing the Tradition," and no end is in sight.

I heard the same thing. Beings Walt's Birthday is coming up there will be a whole new series of pins.
Also disney stores are going to carry them.

l have heard that pin trading begins in disneyland paris
in october
l am very glad with it ,so l get the chance trade some nice disney pin form the states
here in the netherlands its still very diffecult to get some nice pins

I may actually have the chance to visit Disneyland Paris in October. Looks like my pins will be coming with me!!
