We'll be driving in from AL on Monday, Oct. 2, and checking out Friday (or maybe Thursday if we decide to do Kennedy Space Center on Thurs.)
It's me (45 by then), DH 49, and DD12.
I requested 50's building 3 (Tramp), top floor, lakeside.
I always wear the Mickey Head on my lime green backpack and my fanny pack, so maybe you'll spot me during the week. I usually have one on the beachbag that I carry to the pool too.
We always carry Mickey, Minnie, and Pooh back "home" to visit, so they should be sitting in our windowsill. DCL Mickey, Minnie, Chip, and Dale might even go for a visit! I've got boocoodles of neon green paper at work, so I might make some large Mickey heads to tape to the window.
*** Speaking of decorating doors, have ya'll not heard what we do on the cruise? The doors are metal and we use the magnetic printer paper to print signs, character clip art, and even photos. Not only does it decorate the door, it helps you to find it. One downside though...people stop and talk about it, sometimes in the middle of the night.
It's great to see so many DISers at POP at once. We need to arrange a MEET or two; maybe everyone would be able to make at least one. I was involved in a MNSSHP meet 3 years ago. We met at a prearranged time near the Haunted Mansion. Disinterested DHs made photographs of our group and then we rode HM together.
ONE VERY IMPORTANT TIP: Bug repellent for the Halloween party. The mosquitos are terrible when you are close to water. Bad anywhere, but worse then. They ate us up!!! I had OFF, but in the room!

Don't forget to put an alien Green Home Depot Mickey in your window or on your door if you want to get noticed!! If you are nowhere near a Home Depot just PM me and i can mail you a mickey head from there! CAN'T WAIT!!!

Count me in~! Isabella (age 8 by then), her fairygodmother and our good buddy, Nancy and me! We're at POP Sept 27-Oct 1, requested 70s. It's a short trip but it'll be our third in less than 12 months so we're happy. We will be at MNSSHP on the 29th, eating ourselves silly with free dining and hope to get a few rounds at the Food and Wine Festival before our late flights on the first. Love, love, love those cheap SWA specials!!

After reading through the list... seems like some of you already know where you are going to be... Bldg. 7 etc..etc.. This is our 1st time at POP ( yes finally covince the group for POP). Now where do I want to be ??? We like quiet corners ( thats why at at ASMusic we always stays at Jazz In Bldg. which is situated at the back and not a bad distance to the food court and laundry room but then ASMU is not as a big as POP so they say . We have NEVER been at POP !!! Help! Help! Help!

Don't worry!!! First, these are all only requests. That's where we want to be located, and Disney will do its best to grant requests but even they can only work with the rooms available. For example, I want to be on the top floor. If there are no fourth floor rooms available when I check in, well, Disney can't very well put me in one, can they? But since there are 720 rooms on this level among the ten buildings - okay, really 576, since I'm not paying for a preferred room - odds are there'll be one available for me.
Second, while there are a lot of rooms at Pop Century, the entire resort covers a relatively small area - so you're generally not more than an eight or so minute walk from anything.

Antss2001--> as said to you before i just wanted to chime in that these are only requests and usually people that have been there before just like a favorite room (us! US! US!!) and some just like certain sections! There really are no bad rooms at POP! We request a room that is right by classic hall and in front of the POP Jets and on the 1st floor and it is not noisy at all!!! so don't worry and welcome again!!
