posting pictures?

I know I have read somewhere how to post pictures, but I can't find it - I have pictures to post of our shirts from our trip, plus my own "designs" but I can't remember what I need to do to post the pictures. . . .

(Can I just say, I have been up past midnight almost every night this week working on designs - my family can only have so many shirts - this is too addicting! =-))

have you loaded your pictures to a site yet?

I use photobucket(dot)com

load the photo there, then copy the link, open a new post, click on the yellow square with a mountain in it, above, under size, then paste the link from the site...

I don't know if you have a high enough post count to post a link yet. I can't, but I don't know how many posts that you need to post a link.

I can't wait to share my designs either!!!

I was not aware you needed a certain number of posts to post pictures. The method posted above will indeed give a link to where the pictures are, but if you want to post them inside your post you need to use the square brackets '[' and ']'. First you use the open bracket and type "img" and then use the closed bracket, type in the web address where the photos is, including the http, the colon, and the two slashes, finally the open bracket, slash "img" and closed bracket.
Thus ['img'] http : / / dacosta family . com . jpeg ['/img'] without the spaces and quote marks gives:

If you press the yellow square with a mountain in it, it puts the [ img ] tags for you.

Well, I can get it to link to the site, but I can't get it to post the picture only. . . .

I did the mountain button and just copied and pasted the website - what might I be doing wrong?

maybe you did everything right and you need 20 posts??? Have you checked on the tech board?

Just add it into your sig untill you can post it thats what i did..lol

you should be typing it like this... [ IMG ] http:// the. url. here.jpg [ /IMG ]

without the spaces of course..
