Hi,
How about sharing ONE WDW precious kid moment ~
~ and ONE WDW melt down kid moment!
PRECIOUS
Although I have thousands of WDW precious moments, I'll give you only one per kid right now!
dd ~ 4.5 years old ~ her first sight of the castle, GIANT smile and sweetly sang, "Look Daddy THE CASTLE!" Thank God for video cameras!
ds ~ 15 months old ~ liked characters from afar at first. Second day, at Chef Mickey's breakfast, he would wave at the characters and blow kisses but not get too close. While he was busy eating a muffin, CHIP came up behind him and started stroking ds's head, ds didn't pay attention for about 3 minutes, then ds turned to see CHIP and gave him a BIG hug and kiss. From then on ds RUNS to characters! Minnie got soooooooo many kisses from ds that breakfast. Thank God for video cameras!
MELT DOWNS
dd ~ 4.5 years old ~ busy day at the parks. We were on our way to Epcot for 6pm PS at Garden Grill character dinner. dd feel alseep in the car. She continued to sleep as we tranfered her to the stroller and walked to Garden Grill. Upon arrival, she woke up. She was afraid of thunder and lightening which was all over Garden Grill. Thank goodness the restaurant was empty. All the characters calmed her down momentarily, but the melt down went from bad to worse and finally to THAT PLACE OF NOOOOOO RETURN. Of course we left without a bite to eat. Waiter was so great, he gave us a big white fluffy cake which melted down as well in the 90ºF heat.
ds ~ not too many BIG melt downs so far at WDW. He thrives on over stimulation. But we are going back in 50 days ~ so I'll bet I have a good one, especially since he'll get his first hair cut at the Barbershop on Main Street.
