Publix by AKV?

Can somebody confirm that there is a Publix in close proximity to AKV? I went on Google maps and it looks like one but can't quite make it out. We will have a car as well.

Yes, there's a Publix a little less than 5 miles from AKV.

Yep, super easy to get to using the back way off property. I loved how convenient it was to AKV!

Do you need publix or just grocery? There's also a Super Target. They are all within a few minutes of each other.

It's right before the highway (429), you can't miss either.

Well my first choice in grocery store is Publix so that works out great. We live in FL. Target gets me in trouble

The Publix (and Target which is across the highway, 192, from Publix) is about a mile via how the crow flies but the drive is about four miles because you have to go in the opposite direction first. After exiting past the front gate for AKL, take the first right on to Sherberth Road. Stay on Sherberth (it winds around quite a bit) all the way, about 2 miles, to Hwy 192, Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, which is the main drag with lots of stores and other buidlings. Go right on 192 and take it about another two miles almost to shortly before the major freeway, 429 which crosses via bridge over 192. The small strip mall with the Publix will be to the right. Target is across 192 to the left.

If you drive up Buena Vista Blvd past DTD and SSR, you will eventually get to the "Backlot" area of WDW, take a left and the Publix will be on the left a few miles up the road.

You can access this Public from the MK resorts by going north through the backlot area of MK. From BLT you turn right onto World Drive heading north, continue on World Drive going by the Monorail Barn, cross the railroad tracks and at stop sign, turn right (north) onto Center Drive. Follow Center Drive through the MK backlot area which includes employee parking and Disney University. At stop sign turn right onto Reams Road. Follow Reams Road past 535 the 4 way stop where Reams Road becomes Winter Gardens Vineland Road. The Publix is in the first shopping center on the right. The CMs at both BLT and VGF know how to get to this Publix. There is a liquor store next door to the Publix.

Since Center Drive is not a public road, most maps won't be able to map it correctly.
