Howdy Kids!! How was your week? 
Well, I must say it was another unproductive one here at the Saturday Night Chat Institute Of Wine, Pizza, and Television Studies.. While admitting we should have spent the week fulfilling our responsibilities as Professional Chat Hosts researching, planning, and testing new chat innovations, we just didnt. . .
But then again, how could we be expected to? After such a long, brutal winter, Spring finally descended on Bald Knob in all its glory. . . the sun was shining; the birds were singing; the flowers awoke from their long winter slumber and were blooming; and the sounds of laughter and joy floated on the warm breeze. . . and it was just downright impossible to stay locked up inside a stuffy laboratory and concentrate on our research with such a cornucopia of sights and sounds erupting outside our windows. .
So we set aside our work; locked all the windows; pulled the shades; and spent the rest of the week watching the Comedy Channel and drinking beer. . .
At least until Friday that is. . Marla had committed herself to being the guest referee at a charity mud-wrestling match for the National Bunion Foundation at the fabulous Yosemite Sams Casino and Bingo Parlor in Tunica, Mississippi. . and although she hated to leave, it was for a good cause and they were throwing in a free buffet and 2 Keno tickets, so off she went for the weekend. . . leaving me all alone.
Thankfully not for long though, as TNRobin graciously volunteered to pitch in and fulfill Marlas professional chat duties this week, and Im extremely grateful and honored to be working with her.
Not only does Robin bring some impressive research/beer drinking/hosting skills to the table, she also brought some Cheetos. . .
Any-who. . . despite spending the week watching television, dont think for a minute that we didnt prepare an exciting and educational evening for our loyal chat clientele between commercials. . . So tonight we are pleased to announce that Disney After Dark will be heading to always exciting Downtown Disneys Westside where well be meeting up to eat, drink, and whoop it up at the too-cool House of Blues!!!! 
That's right kids; not only does this funky little dive serve up some tasty southern dishes like Seafood Gumbo,
White Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding, and
Slow Smoked Baby Back Ribs with Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauce. . it also serves up some foot-stomping, hand-clapping music with a side of fun. . .
In fact, for a place that calls itself a house of blues, they actually force people to be happy. . I mean, if you act depressed and blue there, they come up over and over and ask; Is every thing okay? Can I get you something? Why the sad face? Is there something wrong with your White Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding? Listen buddy, we told you before- we cant bring you a water glass full of Jack Daniel's to enhance your bbq sauce without charging you for it. . . now eat your gumbo and start clapping your hands and stomping your feet or get the heck out!!!
Oh well, no need to worry, because they also of course serve beer.. . .
So pour the kids a nice glass of warm Nyquil, fire up the computer, and join your chat hosts TNRobin and WillyJ. this Saturday night in the Main Chat Lobby at 9PM EST. It's a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to hang out with your fellow DIS'ers and get to know each other better in a relaxed, informal Atmosphere. As always, general Disney or Universal questions are encouraged and appreciated, and there will be a room full of Orlando veterans there to help you out. . .
Everyone's invited, so see ya there!
