TUESDAY 4th of January

Another sunny day! And again better than CNN forecast!
We got our "cold" breakfast and decided to dedicate the day to catch the Lion King new show.
The guide map was listing the first show at noon, but, after a check, we discovered that (not specified in the guide map) this show takes place only during the weekend

HINT:Do not fully rely on guide map schedule. Check the actual schedule in the park!

Note that the show schedule we downloaded from www.disneylandparis.com , before leaving home, was correct.

HINT:Lion King show is at noon (weekend only), 2PM, 4.30PM in English and at 1PM and 5.30PM in French

We really wanted to see the show, to videotape it and take lots of pictures, but this needed some planning:

HINT:Lion King is a ticket only show. FREE tickets are distributed outside the theatre starting from 11AM for the first shows of the day and starting from 3PM for the last two shows.

HINT:You need to line up 30' before the start of ticket distribution to be sure you get the ticket for the show you have selected

HINT:1 Park Ticket= 1 Lion King ticket. You can send one of your party (with everybody's tickets), to line up, while the others go riding somewhere else

HINT:If a partially obstructed view is enough for you, grab some food at Videopolis counter service and eat seated in the upper part of the theatre viewing area

Some pictures of the show

The show is very nice; it reminded us of the Broadway version that we saw in Los Angeles (Pantage Theatre) more than the AK show. It's really worth all the queuing hassle!!
Still to be continued...

Nice to see pictures of the show.
Went there in November and managed to get front row seats.
I'd been expecting photographs not be allowed so was not prepared

Your right about getting there early to get tickets, but it is much better than before summer where you could queue for 90 minutes and still not get to see the show :(
