Soundproofing between floors

We just booked a 4-day cruise for the spring of 2004. We are in category 9 and in looking at the ship layout we are right underneath the night clubs (in particular the Rockin Bar D/WaveBands). Does anyone know if noise is doing to be a problem here or do the ships have adequate sound proofing. The specific cabin numbers we are in are #2034 and #2028. Thanks.

A long time ago, we were in a stateroom under Rockin' Bar D (I don't remember the stateroom number), and we could hear the bass line. Since that time, I think they have added additional insulation so you may still hear it, but not as bad. It didn't really keep us awake because we did so much running around all day that we were zombies by the time night rolled around! 2626 was much worse (over a cargo door and under the galley, where they work pretty much 24 hours). I'd definitely take the bass over that.
