1. Each January,
. . . MK closes early one night
. . . this is a tenure CM Thank You party.
. . . employed CM's with 10-15-20-etc years are invitees.
2. Party:
. . . park empties at 4:30pm of paying general public
. . . opens 7:30pm-midnight to special CM invitees
. . . no one else invited
. . . all rides open, so NO wait lines
. . . food and drinks are free to invitees
3. Going to be a BLOWOUT for wife's 1st time!

Will MK put on a special fireworks display for the cast members on Jan 25? Heard a rumor they were testing Wishes and Happily Ever After music the other night. We are staying at Poly that night and would be a treat to witness from afar!

1. Due to TERRIBLE PARTY weather, the event was cancelled.
2. It will be in "spring".
. . . this is a nice effort by WDW to reward CM's
. . . dur to the cold and rain, was nice to move the event
3. MK will close the park early
. . . open ONLY for CM admittance.
. . . special ticketed event for Cast Members
. . . Guests must leave the park at 4:30pm
. . . CM's enter starting about 6:30pm
. . . Event lasts until Midnight
4. Events and Freebees:
. . . special fireworks at 9:00pm
. . . free food
. . . free drinks
. . . free special alcohol drink
. . . all park rides
. . . extimated at 5,000-6,000 Special CM Guests

NOTE:
This is a reward for "service" to WDW.

Thank you! We are at Poly tonight and were looking forward to viewing fireworks from balcony. So to be clear, there are zero fireworks tonight? MK closing at 4:30 and no party? Nothing tonight?

I always wondered on these things. If this is for CMs, who is manning the food service and running the rides?

Nice that they moved it. I was on a call this morning with USF/Tampa General and they were commenting on the weather. I said I was just down there and the forecast looked terrible for Florida. It was 10F this morning on the way to work.

1.The invitees are those with "5" seniority anniversaries.
. . . those with years divisible by "5"
. . . 5-yr, 10-yr, 15-yr, 20-yr
. . . currently employed as CM, or eligible last year
2. Exceptions
. . . due to COVID, last year's party postponed to 2022
. . . so, 2022 has two parties
. . . those with eligible in 2021 and 2022
3. Disney's way of saying "THANKS" to long service.
4. Some CM's are coming a long way, with hotel ressies.
5. WDW is refunding hotel deposits.
6. Disney can be very nice to employees.

1. BOTH the 20121 and 2022 parties have been postponed.
2. Weather was just too rainy and too cold.
3. WDW made a good choice to not hold the events.
4. Many CM's complained about nasty weather.
5. No reschedule dates, yet.
