SSR Bus Route for Grandstand

We were at SSR in February and the buses ran Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park and then Springs.

Does anyone know the new order with Grandstand now open?

We were there during February school vacation and the buses were full a few times at park opening before they even reached the Springs stop.

Does anyone know if the new computerized dispatch system has helped?

Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, then Springs. We were there just 3 weeks ago and stayed in the Grandstand section. First picked up, first dropped off. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this section and SSR in general!!!

We were at Grandstand a week ago.

One little trick. Grandstand is not that long of a walk to the Springs bus stop. When leaving, instead of taking the bus at the Grandstand bus stop and riding around all the other stops, make the short walk to the Springs and catch the bus there.

Then when returning from a park, etc., the Grandstand stop is the first one.

Thanks for the replies. We were thinking of requesting Grandstand for December because it is closer to the Carriage House and other main "action". We stayed in Carousel in February and liked being the first bus stop but it was quite a walk to the main facilities.

Caskbill, I like your trick of walking to Springs for the bus ride out, but we are concerned about the buses being full by then. We were on at least 2 early morning buses in February that were full by Congress Park and didn't even slow down at Springs. This happened when the EMH buses were delayed more than 20 minutes between buses and the crowds built up at the Carousel and Paddocks stops.

My wife is a teacher so we are returning for Christmas week and expect the crowds to be large, even more so than they were during February school vacation. Any experience with the new computerized bus dispatch system on your last stay or was it hard to tell with the less than peak crowds?
