There’s been a lot of updates to the bathrooms at Epcot recently and I thought it would be helpful to have a news thread to track the progress:

I have a public restroom phobia. But they are a necessary evil.

A bit older, but the Norway and America pavilions have really nice, newish, large bathrooms.

Are the Morocco ones closed now? I thought I heard that.

I always felt like the bathrooms in World Showcase should honor the countries in which you are located. Some countries have some weird bathroom practices.

I really love the tile in The Seabase Alpha bathroom. It's dated, but I still like it.

Haha, I used both in Japan. I was thinking the fancy bidet toilets with heated seats (although less of a need for heated seats in Orlando!). But part of me came to like the squat toilets since you have no contact with anything. Seems cleaner! (especially when you end up in a rural hosiptal in China ).

Just don’t squat over western style toilets. It makes a mess as we found out living with Iraqis.

They do have those fancy bidet toilets with heated seats at Tokyo Disney Resort - even in the parks and at the monorail stations. We were waiting on one coldish, drizzly morning before the park opened and my sister had to use the restroom. She was gone a while, and when she came back she said that she didn't want to leave! A heated toilet seat is just amazing. I actually got one for Christmas, but it doesn't like the electrical in my house - apparently a common problem.

I always like the bathroom in the Innovations West building behind Club Cool. Only because no one ever used it. It looked like something in an office building. The first time we walked in the building we kept asking ourselves 'are we allowed to be in here?'
