The 'Next Stop- Marriage!' Pre Trip Report!!

I'm starting my pre trip report a little earlier than usual for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I've just got a job, which will take up most of my weekdays (I'm soooo excited to start work!).... And we're also going to start looking for our own house today!! How exciting is that?! So things may get a bit manic round here, but I didn't want to deprive people of a Pre-Trippie!!

The Cast:

Bob (Me) 21-

Favourite Land: Frontierland/Main Street
Favourite Rides: Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Carribean.
Favourite Restaurant: California Grill/Cafe Mickey
Favourite Non-Ride Attraction: General Theming!
Highlight of Previous Trip: Meeting and getting a photograph with Sulley!
Character would most like to Meet: Chip and Dale/Donald Duck.
Favourite Disney Films: Monsters Inc., Sleeping Beauty, Meet The Robinsons.

Robert (Fiancé) 24-

Favourite Land: Discoveryland.
Favourite Rides: Phantom Manor, Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast, Pirates of the Carribean.
Favourite Restaurant: The Chicago Steakhouse.
Favourite Non-Ride Attraction: Alice’s Curious Labyrinth.
Highlight of Previous Trip: Going to the California Grill and having a delicious meal.
Character would most like to Meet: Pete (Don't ask)
Favourite Disney Films: Alice in Wonderland, Meet The Robinsons, Pinnochio.

The name of this Trip Report came about because all year I've been telling myself that our Disney holiday is the last MAJOR thing to happen (Obviously excluding Christmas!) before we tie the knot in February.... All year whilst sitting in tedious University lectures I have thought: "By the time I'm whizzing round Big Thunder Mountain again, it'll not be long before we get married!!".... Eventually, I started referring to it as: "Next Stop- Marriage!!"....

We will be in DLRP from Sept 28th for four nights. For this trip, we will be flying there!!! I am really excited as I have never ever flown before in my life. Last night we booked our taxis and shuttles, and I reckon we should get to Disneyland sometime around 5/5:30pm (Though am not sure).... We will be staying the Sequoia Lodge (Which we stayed in the trip before last and loved!), and I'm delighted to report that at no point on these trips will we have to be up at 5am (Although, I probably will be out of sheer excitment the day we leave!)...!

Still haven't managed to get my Euros... I'm a bit cross to be honest. I have more than enough money in my bank to cover about four times the amount I want to take with me, but I've been rejected from Fairfx and Thompson for buying Euros. Apparantly, because of the type of account I hold with the bank, I have a limit set on the amount of foreign currency I am allowed to order, unless I order it from the bank themselves. I'm feeling rather ill today though so couldn't really be stuffed arguing with the woman. I am going to call back later. I think this is more than a bit unfair!

Thats a bit unfair Bob, I was going to order my euros from either my bank or the post office tomorrow.

Have you tried Tesco? They do a good exchange rate on euros usually.

Oooh how exciting, we're going to be there at the same time!!!! We arrive on the 30th and are staying at the Hotel New York, am so excited too!!

I ordered my currency from Crown Currency Exchange and will NEVER use anyone but them again, they are BRILLIANT! Money is going to be delivered to me on 28th September, excellent exchange rate, best out there I think, highly recommend them.

Hope we bump into each other, have a fab time

I was just going to pick up some Euros from the Post Office or Tesco at the weekend - nothing like leaving it to the last minute eh?!! I usually use Travelex for foreign exchange but that's when we fly.
