New owners, we are taking a trip over labor day weekend for 3 nights. Staying in a 2 bedroom savannah view in kidani with 9 people. The only park we are doing is Magic kingdom for MNSSHP. We are looking for things to do at the different resorts. Please share your favorite things to do and at which resorts. Also we plan on taking advantage of our pool hopping privilege, suggestions for few pools are welcomed!!!!

Go to either Grand Floridian or Poly for a day. Swim part of the day, have lunch, and rent a boat to motor around the lagoon.

Then take the monorail around to BLT for the fireworks from top of the world lounge. That's an awesome day that doesn't involve park admission...

And you don't just have to boat around the 7 Seas lagoon, you can also cross the water bridge into Bay Lake and go around Discovery Island.

Here are a few things we like to do at Kidani.
1. Go to Sanaa Lounge and order some Naan bread.
2. The pool area is nice to spend a few hours relaxing.
3. The bulletin board is loaded with activities.
4. NV goggles are cool. Talk to the CM, especially those from other countries.
5. Bar-B-Que at one of the pits near the tennis courts.

There are plenty of fun stuff to do without going to the parks. DTD, BW, or go eat at another resort.

Kidani has tons of activities. They have the water play area for the younger kids as well as the pool and all the usual pool activities. The community hall is at Kidani--free or low cost crafts, games, etc. There are TONS of cultural activities at both Kidani and Jambo--drumming lessons, ecological games for kids, tours of the art/architecture at Kidani, nightly talks by the cultural representatives from some of the African countries. And of course the animals!

As far as other resorts--go to the Boardwalk some evening and enjoy the free entertainers outside on the boardwalk--magicians, etc. I'm not sure of which days of the week/times they perform.

Take the monorail from the Ticket and Transportation center to Epcot and back just for fun.

You don't even need to rent a boat--you could just take a resort boat ride from the Magic Kingdom to the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness and back. Free boat ride!

Unfortunately, pool hopping is not permitted for Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1 (Fri - Mon)). You'll be limited to the two pools at AKV/AKL.
