Transportation Options from San Diego

I will be in San DIego for a conference in June 2007. I am bringing my daughter along and will be flying into San Diego. The plan is to head up to DL after the conference and spend 4 days at DL and then fly home from LAX. Is there any amtrak service, should i rent a car? Suggestions? This will be my 2nd visit to DL and my dd's first.

Yep--Amtrak runs regularly from San Diego to Anaheim.

the anaheim amtrak station is at anaheim stadium, very close to disneyland. not walking distance close, but cheap taxi ride close.
